Zombie City Defense 2 RELEASED! Check it out!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mozglabs.zcd2
Enter the battle for humanity. Save Earth from hordes of zombies. Plan your strategy wisely, build up your defense, recruit survivors and KILL ZOMBIES! Use flamethrowers, shotguns, machine guns or tanks, artillery and even multi-fire rocket launchers. Experience the thrill of commanding a futuristic military force and be the hero. Save humanity from the biggest threat it has ever encountered!
✔ Unique holographic look.
✔ Upgrade your units to stay alive.
✔ A rich mix of RTS and Tower Defense genres.
✔ 3 difficulty levels and an infinite play mode.
✔ Detailed cities with schools, industrial zones and downtown districts.
✔ Hordes of enemies that aim to stop you from reaching your goal.
✔ Lots of infantry units and vehicles to choose from. Tanks with artillery support vs zombies? How will you command them?
✔ Different maps with different play styles.
✔ Your tactics depend on the set of units you chose for battle.
This game provides a fresh approach to tower defense/RTS genres. The main goal is to hold a city while an army of zombies tries to overpower and capture your base. You can try fast expansion, but it could stretch your forces lotto far so you won't be able to defend properly. Alternatively you can try to hold limited territory, but you will be facing a resource shortage in a week or so. All maps have numerous strategic possibilities so you can tailor your tactics. Your play style will be highly dependant on the units you'll have selected. Choose wisely. Will you use artillery to kill enemies at distance? Or, will you stick to close combat using infantry and barricading buildings to win?
The year is 2053. An unknown bio-weapon has been released from top secret laboratories and has now turned 86% of the world’s population into unnatural abominations. Only a secret military group, known as Iron Corps can put an end to this global threat.
NOTE ABOUT IN APP PURCHASES:
The in app purchases are completely optional. They are there to be used by players that want a quick way to get extra tactical points. If you are not a fan of IAP, rest assured that you can definitely beat the game without them.

Finally, a good game... I must say, this game is a gem. Yes there are bugs.. But overall, it is the right mix of epic play and difficulty. Upgrades actually feel like upgrades (The moment you retire the bulldozer and put a tank on the field...epic) and points are earned dearly, making every purchase feel like an investment. If I were to make one complaint, it would be the voices. More soldier, and less game show host, please.

Too hard, takes too long and no Note pen support! Takes way too long to do a level. No point saying put it on fast forward. The fact that I can't use my Note 4 stylus also makes no sense to me. Finally, the repairing of units is really unbalanced. They take a tiny bit of damage and the cost is the same as if they were half health. How does that work? Could be a great game...

Accidentally deleted and no in app refund I accidentally deleted the app about a day after i payed $2.50 for the 7000 extra so i could get better infantry men and when i redownloaded it i did not have the 7000 back and there is no way to get a refund for the $2.50. I would like to find some way to get the $2.50 back so that i could make the purchase for the 7000 again but there is no way to do so! In other words dont buy this game or use any in app purchases if you are one who cleans out your phones storage space every now and then!

Great game Very simple and enjoyable. Still a little buggy. At times it will create an engineer rather than the unit you were after. Using fast forward appears to decrease the accuracy (or fire rate) of troops as zombies are able to get much closer than at normal speed.

A really great i rate 4.5 not 3.9 as suggested its and eccentric and not your run of the mill app game. Two thumbs up for creativity and uniqueness though the triangles are plain for zombies it actually suits the game well. Idk what the dislikes are on this but it's a must play. I rate it 4.5 out of 5 . Mainly because you don't have to buy anything to level up or feel accomplished in this game. And it's different, most games on the phone or tablet are the same. So must play.

phenomenal game. my only critique is finicky controls at times , specifically with placing units. somewhat barebones tutorial, but the learning curve is minimal. considering the relatively low cost, about the price of a large coffee, definitely worth it. gameplay is immensely tactical, requiring planning, and situational awareness. it's rather addictive, and satisfyingly fun. iap though there, isn't required for those like myself that prefer a long grind. graphically i am impressed with the style and freedom to view as i like. i look for games that are specific, must have grinding, tactical, and no human faces . this game meets all 3 criteria. thank you dev team

Very good It's a very good game but it would be nice if the tutorial went a little better in depth. I sat there playing for so long trying to figure out how to get more units to build, didn't help that I couldn't really figure out how to move the camera either which wasn't explained. I figured out both thing after about 4 games. For how strong and plentiful the zombies are your units should either; be stronger, cost less, or you should be able to produce resources quicker or more at a time. Otherwise good game?
Good, needs tweeking Its a nice little game that takes up a good bit of time to play. It would be nice if you could see a general layout of each map before you enter it so you can better pick out your troops. Also, ad names to the pictures of the soldiers in the barracks. it's frustrating when I forget which units I picked in the barracks. Units movement and placement is a little tricky. I find myself having to pause the game so I can move the soldiers exactly where I want them.
Zombie city defense Its awesome it took me a minute to get hooked now I love it. I wish there were more units and maybe even allies. I wish things weren't so hard to click on. Like a certain unit or maybe the sniper could go up a building so more units could fit inside. Also it would be nice if you could turn the map to place units better
Great "Tower Defense" Game!! Cool game w/ open city maps w/ building acquisition, control, and def. Has 5 levels of upg for ea class from boots on the ground to vehicles. Ability to select groups of units would be greatly appreciated and assist the dynamics of the game. Comments of confusion about how the game works and recognizing units is baffling. Each unit has its unique emblem to distinguish their class. If there's a titled building, it needs at least one unit defending it to produce "income". Turrets for bases needed.
Very good Very good game! Just reached 25 million points on the dark oil map on infinite mode... thought it would never end! Got 259 thousand money or whatever it is so gutta unlock everything. Did I break a record or so?
Fun game with a smart use of graphic. If this is an indie game made by a few persons, then the design team is smart indeed. Graphic is the most stunning here. Not because it is grand or realistic, but the design using simple geometry and transparency give the game a tactical impression. Units are represented by symbol. This enhance the impression even more. Control is good enough. Not perfect. I accidentally order unit to walk often. That means the control requires some learning to get used to. The weakest, though, seems to be audio. Music is great. Effect is ok. But it is obviously can be better. Imagine your units reporting contact. Your engineering screaming when parameters are breached. Some random radio sis from survivors. These sounds would have increased the feeling of urgency, a boon to this kind of game.
There is a glitch or an Easter egg?!??? In one of the maps there is a specific building that will generate +400 gears which means that the game becomes virtually a walk in the park. All I have to do is go to infinity mode and use this building to allow me to put forward some of my best towers like the devastator and watch how easy the map is. I died at round 272 after being killed by the runner zombie and I generated over around 2100000 coins meaning I can purchase powerup such as armour as many times as I want making the game easy from there on.
Game is quite hard once you go past the first difficulty level, and the factories producing income have a limit each level dont aeem to produce enough income. More money and less costs for troops, upgrades & health/repairs aswell as an allowance for more troops
Really good. Well it's not Starcraft 2 ;),but it's really a nice strategy game with a fair challenge. Their are lots of unites to work for and there is achievements! Great game. Yes I would also say the tutorial needs to help you more.
Really clever tower defense concept. I like the idea and I like that it's challenging. You only need to buy credits (in app purchase) if you have like pretty little patience. I'd love to see this game with a bigger budget (i.e. graphics or real zombies and blood splattered everywhere... etc). well built mechanics and balance. BTW, I just found a clever trick that got me over 400,000 credits. I won't give it away... but if you don't want to pay extra or wait to accumulate, there is another way...
Needs work It is really hard to get the troops to go where you want them to. They usually just stand outside the building and tapping the building is often confused with call ng the soldier if the building is too close. One time a soldier actually went completely the wrong way from where i ordered him. It is a good game, but sometimes it just doesn't work right. Made this post a year ago. No updates since then to fix the bugs. Now my scouts don't die, they just freeze and scream repeatedly with an obnoxious sound.
Slow your curve A interesting fun game. Except that the difficulty rate skyrockets. I like to branch out take my time. After all it's called Zombie city defence not Zombie city massacre.
Never loved a game like this in a long time... Wow--just wow, this game is incredible; in fact, it's too much for me to handle right now because I've been waiting years for a strategy game like this that involves troops, tanks, buildings, creativity, worthy enemies, balance, and much more. Unbelievable, going through at least a thousand crappy apps, I finally found one that exceeds more than my expectations. All I can hope right now is that the developer continues to update with relevant improvements w/out making a second one--I just hope he keeps it up
One thing first: Please tweak the Grison. For 7000 points and a 5000 price tag, it is way underpowered. Range is the only good thing. And it's much-touted rate of fire? Exactly the same as machine gun squad. Please fix this. Otherwise it's a great game. **When are we going to see an update for this awesome game ????**
I love it but there is a problem It is hard to play. I have gotten 31 days 4 times in a row on the second level. The one right after the the tutorial. And the tutorial is a little hard to comprehend. Overall its great just need to redo the tutorial instructions. Thank you! :)
Great TD Game Command and Conquer meets tower defense. I can't get enough of it. With that being said, there's a few downfalls. You can beat the game by building the same unit 5 or 6 times and upgrading. Some buildings you have to be in a sweet spot to be able to capture it. If you fast-forward the game, zombies get to your units a lot more and do more damage. If you buy a high price unit, you have no time to max upgrade it as it cost way too much. Camera operation can be difficult to rotate and zoom in/out. If your un
Simple yet engaging This game is great for using up a lot of time. The graphics are far from great but that doesn't take anything away from the concept of the game. It's rather difficult to beat the levels, but it's a nice challenge. I'd recommend this game.
Great but needs improvements It's a great game. A little hard. It would be nice if the troops actually looked like people so it would be easier to tell them apart as in which troop has the shotgun and which has an assault rifle , maybe it can be in a future update
I love the way of the setup of the game! Neutral design e.g. Triangles zombies and the base perspective is really good. Controls have some difficulty but once you know how they work there ok.
Potential but can I be bothered? Too small fonts for a phone, even 6 inch. Too easy to find I've moved a character rather than selecting something else. For first true round there were no soldiers available for training I HAD TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL AND THEN THEY WORKED. PRIOR TO THAT THERE HAD JUST BEEN BLANKS WHERE THE ICONS SHOULD HAVE BEEN! Can't read any of the red writing that appears and fades too fast. 31 days is a very long time. I got bored. Hope it will improve now I can actually get soldiers...
Speed control and camera/unit control are difficult to and gets on your nerves. Difficulty is good, though I find I need to grind a lot simply because the description doesn't explain the units very well. So I end up buying wrong units and grind all over again. Other than that it's a nice game.
WASTE OF MONEY I WANT A REFUND This game is so bad I want a refund 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠I hate it this. Game would be better if the creators made them look like a tactical units and not arrows. 👉 This game is not worth how much it cost and the game tutorial explains nothing DO NOT BUY I never write reviews unless it is that bad 4 stars so people can actually see the review WOULD DO ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE THIS GAME IS TRASH
Fun little strategy game I would have given it 5 but there are a couple problems I need to address first there needs to be a quicker way of going through your troops rather than click every single individual unit to give them orders, second there should be a way to draw a route for the unite to take because they just stumble into a building full of zombies causing havoc, and last but not least when I upgrade a unit it doesn't feel as if the unit improved there should be some sort of way to customize the unit different weapons...
Great Potential --EDIT: No more updates EDIT: Doesn't appear to be maintained by the creator(s), and is incomplete in it's current form :(. --ORIGINAL: This game is a great idea with poor execution. It's lacking basic things like a save option during each map. It wouldn't be a big deal except that maps last over an hour each. Also, the later units are extremely under leveled, and need buffed. Finally, it could use a way point system and a better tutorial. Otherwise it is a very good game.
Great game Only annoyance is I am constantly accidentally moving units. It could use some work in that area, but otherwise rocks!
Great game Love it, great and challenging game. The movement controls are a tad clunky but not too terrible. Hoping for expansions or more levels.
Great defense and unit management game This is pretty easy to stay to play, but also gets difficult. My main gripe is that the controls for moving the map are finicky, and automatically deselecting units is a pain. I end up moving units without realizing it. The movement paths could be improved. But the graphics are neat, the tactics to manage each level is hard, and I keep sticking through entire levels trying to capture and defend buildings. It's a lot of fun, but needs to remove bugs and the dumb micro transactions (though they aren't req)
At first I was list since this game is semi complicated but after my second try I learned the controls. This is a great game and require resource management and tactic
Incomprehensibly frustrating A game that has the basic but only succeeds in making you want to smash your mobile device. Units are limited. Health is rationed. Progress is slower than a turtle. Erased from my phone.
Really Fun, A Few Bugs This game has already got me hooked, but with any game, there are always a few tweaks that could make it better. I'd love to see troop names to know who I'm training, and a slightly better AI (my troops can get stuck, and I have to reposition them to move them where I want) a bug I've noticed is that one of my troops died, but stayed on the field, repeating the death animation over and over.
Don't be fooled by the screenshots. The screenshots make this game look much more expansive and complex than it truly is. I was quickly disappointed in the ui and lack of things to do. Despite the cool asthetics, the game is slow, clunky and kind of boring.
Bugs: Sometimes spawns an engineer when I pick the scout unit, units run into infested building while travelling sometimes, machinegunner doesn't seem to do any damage, mortars can't shoot at something below them. The bugs have costed me a game or two, but it is still playable. I would like the buttons and text to be a bit bigger on smaller screens. It's hard to read building names sometimes and the speed buttons are WAY to small. Thanks for reading. EDIT: Do you guys update this game anymore? There's some unfixed bugs and the game could use some new features. (disbandjng units to recover population, call in support, airstrikes, custom mode.) EDIT 2: UPDATE THE GAME
What am I doing This is an entertaining little game, but the tutorial is written such that it feels like one is jumping into a dialogue mid-conversation. Even though I really have no idea wtf is going on, still seems kind of fun.
Decent Good casual game but harder difficulties are frustrating. Enemies will simply run past your troops to attack weaker specialized units which can be frustrating when managing several incoming waves. Trying to bottleneck them results in you getting overrun. Buildings take too long to capture and forward scout groups get annihilated very easily after about 10 days. Unit abilities are sort of unnoticeable bonus' the rifleman is the catch all it seems to be the best troop choice for everything.
