One of the best. I love naval simulator games and I can never get enough of them. Usually they are only found in pc gaming. But here I am having the most fun on a naval game on my phone. You guys did a fantastic job making this game. But there are two minor problems I have with it. The random ship placement and the island attack missions are pretty weak. Just figured I would add how the radar mod is pretty much mandatory. What is worse it also robs the game from the challange of range finding.

Nice Great game I'm on my second play thru of the usa after completing the IJN (imperial Japanese navy) once before i have two complaints one is lack of missions and the second is the amount of cpu usage and battery consumption. Otherwise fantastic sequels or updates are very much looked forward to.

From 7 to a10* If you had a limited number of ships in fleet on each side. Damaged ones go in for repair. And can't be used until repaired. Sunk are lost. Factory making bigger better as time passes. US. More output of course. The game would go from an 7 to a 10*

awesome game Real ships, fun challenging levels, great graphics, lots of upgrades, great music/settings. All you could possibly want and more in an arcade came! Only thing is it becomes a little too easy once you get a battleship.

Carter.A. THIS GAME IS AWSOME AND FUN!!!!!!! The only thing I ask is to add visual damage and ships breaking in half and sinking and blowing up into a million pieces!!!! Also an ATLANTIC FLEET would be awesome along with a multiplayer mode. Also could you PLEASE ADD THE U.S.S ARIZONA. it would be awesome to have and its a match against the Japanese KONGO. Please think about it!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😀😀😀😀😀😀

Not to many duds Great game, fantastic graphics. Regarding torp duds, EZ to address with renown upgrades, & is good rep of the U.S torp issue early Pacific War. No change needed w/ torps. I thoroughly enjoyed playing both sides. Ideas for updates. 1. Change AA sound to 50 call and 20/40mm autocannon. 2. Enhance the ship explosion sound quality, more bass 3. Ship adds: a. PT boats, b. HMS Prince of Whales and/HMS Repulse, c. Japanese subs to include I400. 4. Add sonar mod.

Good suggestions. Most of this will be coming in the sequel Atlantic Fleet. awesome game Real ships, fun challenging levels, great graphics, lots of upgrades, great music/settings. All you could possibly want and more in an arcade came! Only thing is it becomes a little too easy once you get a battleship.

Awesome game Only complaint is that the interface is set to the wrong resolution for my device and so is clipped at the edges (buttons only 1/3 visible). Gameplay wise great fun though.
Fantastic game! I have this app for my iPhone and my Android tablet...it is one of my favorites. Incredible realism and close attention to detail. Besides Crash Dive, there is simply no other game I've found that can touch this. I can't wait for the developer to release another title. Maybe Atlantic Fleet? Just saying. Please keep them coming and thank you guys for the work you've done on this. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Atlantic Fleet is coming. Visit killerfishgames.com for more info. Great game but... There is no damage to the ships. They just sink. Fires always appear in the same place. Never where shells hit. The illumination shell never activates. I don't enjoy only being able to have one save game at a time. I'd like to keep my american fleet and start another as the Japanese instead of erasing everything first. More ship classes would be nice. The game is awesome. I love it. But it just still needs some work. Keep up the great work devs. Its sure to keep getting better.
No longer works Fantastic game on my Galaxy S3 really enjoyed it! Played it through multiple times. However i just upgraded to the Note 4 and it doesnt work properly! It takes 4 or 5 attempts to click on anything on the main menu and when trying to navigate the ships the screen pans! Please fix this as its an awesome game and would love to be able to play it on a bigger screen!
Brilliant game! Lets start off with the pros : its an absolutely brilliant game. The turn based feature allows you to aim your guns and get into position properly to engage the enemy fleet. Great graphics - really! Beautiful detail on actual WW2 ships. Great dynamics in terms of where you are hit and where you start to take on water as well as gun angles and elevation.. The cons : quite expensive for very limited features and content - in comparison to whats out there. 3v3 fleet action and few ships further limits the game
Am giving this a 3 stars because... 1. I had played Atlantic Fleet too before this which is so much better to control my landing of my shots and others which i rated 5 stars for those. 2. Why remove the damage effects add on? It looked damn perfect on Atlantic Fleet, tell me why? (Unless you tell me that pacific fleet came out first before the atlantic version which got the improvements) However from this the review, i still think this is a good game.
Very good sim. Highly recommended This reminds me of a game a while back from Microprose called Task Force 1942. The modeling of the ships, subs and aircraft here are great. The sounds are epic all around from the ships guns firing, to the shells falling, explosions, and the sound of bulk heads caving in as the ships go down. Would love to see more.
Very Good. One of the best strategy games Ive played on mobile devices. Very impressive in may ways, from gameplay to graphics..its turn based but still action packed. If you have an interest in this era and theater of warfare, I should say that this is a must have. protip: People seem to have an issue with Dud torpedos..they have a 40% failure rate without upgrades (playing as USN, this is a historical approximation, deliberately set) but this can be cut to 4% if you buy the 'Detonators' upgrade..and its not expensive :: D I bought it in only 2 or 3 zones.
Wonderfully Made I loved the game. I played the Lite version before getting the full version. I have also played it's sequal Atlantic Fleet. If there was one thing that would make the game better would possibly be a revamp using the graphics engine from the sequal. That and maybe more ship classes, more ship sinking events like capsizing, splitting up, and an underwater view. Still though, love the game.
Pacific fleet I have had the original Pacific Fleet for over a year I love it played it over and over and now that I've got the updates the screens freezing up need to fix for it before I have to delete it..CHANGED MY RATING... GAVE IT 5 TOOK IT AWAY..1 .. SINCE UPDATE IT KEEPS FREEZING UP.. ALL THE TIME.. U NEED TO FIX.. SOON.. ABOUT TO DELETE.. remember we paid for this
Fun!!! Pros: the graphics are very good, the realism and feel of the game make it a simple but yet fun turn-based shooter. Worth the money! Cons: torpedoes are annoyingly curvy even after upgrades. The enemy seems to know your exact range limit on your guns and torpedoes, thus staying just out side of your range. Starting out at range and never being able to close distant in some matches. The nuke is op but needed to over come above issues while using the submarine. Lastly resetting progress to switch sides sux
Very enjoyable game This is a fun little game, I like it! I especially appreciate the lack of microtransactions! This is a fully working, full-featured game - a rarity in today's app marketplace. The graphics and sound are very well-done, and the turn-based gameplay is terrific. My only criticism is that it can sometimes be fiddly to select/target island-based enemies, and that the Radar upgrade shows the gun elevation required to hit the target, but not the actual distance to the target. Hoping for a Pacific Fleet 2 port!
Close to perfect This is the strategy game you have been searching Google play for. If this came out in the early 90s on the Amiga, it would have been rated 95% by Amiga Format and you would have gladly forked out 30 quid for it. Then you would have lost weeks playing it, and created a lifelong happy memory. This is a bit more expensive than the usual games on here , but you are getting what you pay for. And for a lot less than 30 quid. Now for Atlantic Fleet!
Great Game! Really fun game! Worth the money for a no bullsh#t game 👍 Can be challenging but after getting the upgrades it gets a little easy... I beat the American campaign in 3 days. Hoping for updates! Maybe an expert difficulty level?
Good but... I love the level of detail of the models, and the serious effort towards historical accuracy. I will skip over the torpedo comments, as the game makers are spot on. Things I would like to see; ability to have more than 3 ships, ability to play multiples of the same ship and more ship types/classes, including a Japanese submarine and British units. Why I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) Very twitchy gun elevation slider. Make a dial, or type in box. 2) Before radar, there should be some sort of gun fire director.
Awesome I just wish that there were some more levels or ships. More content in general. Thanks! I've had this game on my iPod since before there was full navigation and single battles. It has really come a long way! :)
Nice! I have tried a number of similar games and this one is great for two reasons: 1) Game play is good and historical accuracy is pretty decent as well. 2) Not one of those ever-to-be dammed "freemium" games. No greedy and annoying in-app purchases!
Great game Good balance, dud rate and torpedo drift can be frustrating but are a part of the upgrade path. Idk why people are complaining. Was the sub historically unable to reload a all of its of torpedos or is the one reload every three turns a balance issue? Could the reload 3 count start after the first torpedo is fired?
Best Naval Sim for Android This was the best naval sim that I have played on Android. Be prepared for a challenge as this is not an easy "game," but takes skill and preparation. The rewards are worth the time it takes to upgrade and buy new ships. I really hope the developer decides make another app, perhaps focusing on a single platform, or modern naval warfare.
The dev should make one of the world war 1 battleships now that would be good!!!! And even include Russian ships, the pre dreadnought ships of there fleet. Also a world war 1 ship game would have more to it, as there was historically more. ship to ship combat. So yes it would be Very good I would buy it please let me know what you think?
Awesome game!! No Pay to Play. No In App Purchases...Just for that you get 5 Stars. Atlantic Fleet is better cuz you can see the ships sink underwater. I got both just cuz I support ALL PAY TO OWN GAMES...I HATE FRAUD LYING CHEATING SO CALLED "FREE" GAMES. This game reminds me of Battle Ship as a kid. AWESOME GAME. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
the app has very good graphics and the camera following shells + 3D views of op. theatre are nice;it would be great if updated to be played over Direct WiFi as multiplayer! also, the AAA fire should have a manual option allowing the player to choose AAA armament and to aim it at the incoming attacking plane or even counter with fighter airplane(if a carrier is available);for the realism of the game the dissengaging ships should not just pop out of the theater after step3 but slowly dissapear at the horizon.
Me wants more Great game. Love it. The creators need to make another game based in the Atlantic and offer the US, British, vs. The Nazis. Additionally I feel that they should patch this game with more content ie. Parascope view, larger engagements, and even enhanced flight control of the planes.

Sound like Atlantic Fleet: http://killerfishgames.com/games/atlantic-fleet Guys get your behinds to the bridge ASAP! Look at AF and you know what I mean because some essential things are simply missing or laying on the bottom of the Pacific to rust! No this one misfired completely. Are you gonna take care of it? A unsatisfied customer!
Awesome game Just two observations: Since the torpedoes just disappear at the end of their run a range arc or cutoff line would be great. Also carriers should start out of range of enemy fleets. Oh and the buy everyship & upgrade achievement for USA isnt working. Update: A way to login via facebook/google play and transfer between devices would be awesome, defeated hard usa sub only and my tablet crashed and i had to reload on a new tablet, not looking forward to doing that again
Finished and enjoyed Thanks paul for a great game. I have now completed both campaigns. For those who keep saying you have to buy the upgrades, that is ingame renown, not real cash. It would be nice for some more expansions. Modern war perhaps?
Great game! A great little game for hours of enjoyable play. Could have been improved in a couple of aspects: carrier battles should start at a distance just beyond the maximum range of the enemy, so carriers cannot be disabled by gunfire immediately. Also, the 'radar' calculator should be made default, at a lower level of accuracy, as the 'rangefinder' (Japanese rangefinder should be made more accurate than US; US radar should be more accurate than Japanese). Otherwise it degrades into a wild guessing game. Oh, and a final note to the developer: if you can re-skin this into a WW I Dreadnought battle game, I would gladly pay another $5.99. Think of Coronel, Falkland, Emden chase, Dogger Bank and certainly Jutland! Each side can have light cruisers, armoured cruisers, battlecruisers, pre-dreadnoughts and dreadnoughts... oh what a great game it will be!
Fun game with minor issues This game is very fun. Pretty realistic and the graphics are great. I just wish you could earn more points by redoing levels; you can't and once you get max score nothing is gained by completing it again. This makes getting some upgrades and new ships hard. Also, certain upgrades like improved torpedoes should apply fleet wide. That would more accurately resemble the US or Japan doing the research to improve their munitions. It shouldn't be each ship having to do it.
Nothing else comes close I've been playing this for a year now and still find it engaging. Might be wishing for a bit more development now but otherwise very cathartic or challenging. Try going up against Yamato with a fleet of destroyers!
Love it. Alot of $$ This is a great game. I have been playing it for a long time and never had a problem. The devs gave put alot of time into this game. The only downside is I dont think it is worth the money. You should either lower the price or add a an Australian campaign.
I love this game so much and have a great time playing it but could you maybe have a free play option so you don't have to wait turns. Thank you
One of the best strategy games with few frustrating flaws Its fun, looks great and has a rewarding feel with each successful mission. 3 massive issues: torpedoes are duds too often, the island targets are incredibly difficult to hit (even with radar on arcade), and no means or explanation on how to aim with bombers
Difficult to play. Controls are not intuitive. Manual unhelpfull. Deteted it. Didn't get a refund. Installed it again. Struggled a few more hours. Finally it starts to make sense. But it plays more like eight ball than a wargame. Most of game time is devoted to putting the high explosive 8 inch ball in the corner destroyer.
Radar doesn't work correctly So I tried the demo and like it. Then decided to buy it, however I'm very disappointed with the radar that says it will give exact gun angle. That's bs as I have purchased that and I still end up hitting the water. What gives. Update that and u will have a five star rating
Killerfish Games August 3, 2014
RADAR gives estimated elevation to target. Getting 5 star experience rank on a ship or playing in Arcade difficulty gives you exact RADAR (not accounting for wind). Review deleted
